It began with Nolan.
Becky Davila is a devoted mother, wife, and holistic health practitioner. In 2016 her oldest son, Nolan, was diagnosed with non-verbal autism and apraxia. From that moment she dedicated her time and energy to researching anything that might improve his prognosis and quality of life.
Through forums and other resources she discovered functional medicine, and by 2017 had fully committed to implementing biomedical interventions. As she researched and applied each one, she saw further progress in his development.
Today Nolan is almost 11, and — per Becky's account — attends a mainstream general-education classroom without an IEP.
From parent to practitioner.
Driven to help other children reach their potential, Becky furthered her education and graduated as a Holistic Health Practitioner at the end of 2019. She has a particular interest in herbal medicine and also earned certification as a master herbalist.
From 2020 to 2022 she worked as a clinical assistant shadowing a MAPS (Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs) physician, gaining experience with autism from a biomedical standpoint.
In early 2022 she opened her own remote practice and has since worked with nearly 300 families around the world — focused on finding the root cause of each child's challenges and supporting families along the way.
