Katrien Verbesselt

Katrien Verbesselt serves as the international liaison for Dr. Bogner Health, offering an exceptional blend of clinical understanding, lived experience, and international autism navigation expertise. Based in Belgium and working with Dr. Bogner since 2021, Katrien brings more than two decades of firsthand knowledge as the mother of her remarkable 25-year-old son, whose autism journey has taken her across the globe in search of effective and compassionate care.

Katrien’s background in dentistry provides her with a disciplined clinical perspective, complementing her deep familiarity with biomedical, nutritional, and integrative approaches for autism. Over the years she has implemented, refined, and adapted countless interventions, allowing her to uniquely bridge the gap between theory and practical, real world application.

I know that the road can be bumpy or lonely, but always remember that they often lead to the most beautiful destinations…
On this journey I can be your companion, support and guide.

Families value Katrien for her advanced knowledge of supplements, sourcing them internationally, and understanding the nuances of laboratory testing. She excels in reviewing panels, implementing protocols, troubleshooting responses, and guiding parents on the day to day execution of complex plans. Fluent in English, French, and Dutch, she supports families in Europe, the Middle East, and beyond who often face additional layers of logistical, regulatory, and cultural complexity when seeking biomedical care.

Katrien is also well versed in the Gut Balancing program, including all aspects of supplement coordination, medication considerations, lifestyle adjustments, and phased therapeutic implementation. Her ability to translate protocols into actionable steps tailored to each family’s environment and resources is one of her greatest strengths.

In her role at BognerHealth, Katrien offers consultations for families outside the United States, helping them understand how to best navigate autism care internationally, prepare for medical visits, schedule appointments with Dr. Bogner, and access high quality resources. Her intelligence, empathy, and lived experience make her an invaluable guide for parents who feel overwhelmed or uncertain about next steps.

Katrien’s dedication is grounded not only in professional commitment but in deep personal understanding. She brings clarity to complicated decisions, stability to uncertain situations, and compassionate insight to families who need both expertise and genuine support.

“I know that autism can feel like an endless landscape, but with the right guidance, families can find direction, stability, and hope. No parent should ever feel alone on this journey. My role is to help them discover their next destination, one step at a time.”
