Katrien Verbesselt serves as the international liaison for Dr. Bogner Health, offering a rare combination of clinical insight, lived experience, and autism navigation expertise. Based in Belgium, speaking 3 languages (Dutch | French | English) she has more than 2 decades of hands-on knowledge as the mother of her remarkable 25-year-old son, whose autism journey took her across multiple countries to find effective and compassionate care.
With a professional background in dentistry, Katrien combines disciplined clinical thinking with a deep understanding of biomedical, nutritional, and integrative approaches for autism. Over many years she has implemented, refined, and adapted diverse interventions, giving her a uniquely practical perspective that bridges medical recommendations with real-world execution.

Katrien has the ability to help families stay organized, understand the steps of a plan, and follow through with what their provider has already recommended. She assists with coordinating care, sourcing supplements internationally, clarifying instructions, and helping parents navigate laboratory reports or protocol outlines so they can implement them correctly. Her role is to support, streamline, and guide families through the practical day-to-day process of carrying out their existing biomedical plan, answering questions and troubleshooting logistics along the way, without providing medical advice or making treatment decisions.
She has experience with the Gut Balancing program, lifestyle modifications in an autism home, as well as supplement logistics. She is skilled at translating protocols into actionable steps tailored to each family’s specific situation.
In her role at BognerHealth, Katrien provides consultation for families outside the United States, helping them navigate international autism care, prepare for medical visits, and access high-quality resources. Her clarity, empathy, and lived experience make her a stabilizing guide for parents who feel overwhelmed or uncertain about next steps.
